Every Coaching Funnel Ranked: What Actually Works to Sell High-Ticket Coaching in 2026

I've run almost every funnel imaginable over the last 13 years. Here's what I've found works best for generating leads, building trust, and selling high-ticket coaching, consulting, and services in today's market.

I've spent the last 13 years building and testing funnels for coaching businesses, consulting businesses, and service-based businesses.

Cold outreach. Organic content. DM funnels. Video sales letters. Evergreen webinars. Live workshops. Direct call booking funnels.

You name it. I've probably tested it.

And here's something I've learned after generating millions in sales across these different businesses:

Not all funnels are created equal. And the funnel that generates the most leads isn't necessarily the one that generates the most sales.

Especially in today's market.

People are more skeptical. They're seeing more ads. They're being bombarded with offers. And quite frankly, they're getting tired of being sold to by people they don't know or trust.

So I want to walk you through six different funnels you can use to sell high-ticket coaching, consulting, or services, rank them from worst to best, and explain why some are working significantly better than others right now.

And this isn't just theory.

I'm literally in the trenches doing this stuff every single day.

First, Let Me Show You What's Actually Working

Before we get into the rankings, I want to give you a little context.

One of the companies I'm currently doing fractional executive work for is in the wellness space.

In the last 30 days, we've generated:

  • $320,000 in cash collected

  • $411,000 in contracted revenue

  • 534 leads generated

  • 109 sales calls booked

  • 13 closed sales on one particular front-end offer

That's just one company.

For another business, over the last 12 months, from October 2025 through 2026, our funnel has produced:

  • 671 sales calls scheduled

  • 463 calls shown

  • 334 offers made

  • 139 closed sales

  • Approximately 42% of offers closed

  • $1.4 million in sales generated

And these aren't people who have necessarily been following us for years.

We're talking about colder and warmer traffic coming into different types of funnels, going through our sales processes, and becoming clients.

The reason I'm sharing these numbers isn't to impress you.

It's to show you that what I'm about to share is based on what's happening in real businesses with real offers, real leads, and real sales conversations.

We've tested these funnels. We've seen what converts. And we've seen what looks good on paper but ultimately becomes a nightmare to scale.

So let's get into it.

The Six Coaching Funnels Ranked From Worst to Best

Here's how I'd rank the six funnels based on what I'm seeing work in 2026.

  1. Live Masterclass Funnel — My #1 Choice

  2. Direct Call Booking Funnel — Great for Ready-Now Buyers

  3. Organic Content + DM Funnel — Best for Proving Your Message

  4. VSL Application Funnel — Solid Once Your Message Is Dialed In

  5. Evergreen Webinar Funnel — Works, But Comes With Challenges

  6. Cold DM Outreach Funnel — Least Efficient for Building a Brand

Now, before somebody gets upset because they're crushing it with an evergreen webinar or cold outreach, understand something.

Every single one of these funnels can work.

The real question isn't whether a funnel works.

The question is:

How much trust does that funnel build before somebody gets on a sales call?

Because that's what changes everything.

And before we break each one down, there's something even more important we need to talk about.

Your Funnel Won't Save a Bad Offer or Weak Messaging

I see so many coaches and consultants obsessing over funnels.

What landing page should I use?

Should I run Facebook ads?

Should I build a webinar?

Do I need a VSL?

Should I send people straight to my calendar?

And look, these things matter.

But there's something that matters way more.

Your offer, your positioning, and your message-to-market match.

If you don't have a compelling offer, I don't care how sophisticated your funnel is.

You could literally stand in the middle of the street screaming about your offer, and if nobody wants it, nobody's buying.

The funnel isn't going to magically fix that.

And the same thing goes for your messaging.

Are You Saying the Right Words to the Right People?

When I talk about messaging, I'm talking about the actual words and language you're using to communicate your value.

Do you understand the pains, symptoms, problems, and frustrations your ideal clients are experiencing?

Can you articulate those problems so clearly that people almost automatically assume you understand how to solve them?

Do you know what their dream outcome actually looks like?

Not just the surface-level result.

I'm talking about what they really want.

What keeps them up at night? What are they frustrated with? What have they already tried? What do they secretly wish was possible?

And can you position yourself differently from every other coach or consultant promising the same thing?

Maybe you have a unique methodology.

Maybe you approach the problem differently.

Maybe there's a belief your market has about how to get results that you know is completely wrong.

Whatever it is, you need to be able to communicate that difference.

Because how your audience perceives you, your brand, and your offer determines how effectively your funnel converts.

Get the messaging wrong, and you're just spending money sending more people toward an offer they don't understand or want.

Get the messaging right, and suddenly a lot of these funnels become much easier to make work.

Okay?

Now let's rank them.

#6: Cold DM Outreach Funnel — The Least Efficient

Let's start with what I consider the worst funnel for building a long-term coaching or consulting brand.

Cold DM outreach.

This is where you're reaching out to complete strangers, trying to start conversations, qualifying them, and eventually pushing them toward a sales call.

And here's the problem.

There's almost zero trust established before you start trying to sell somebody.

Think about your own behavior for a second.

When somebody randomly slides into your DMs with some message about how they help entrepreneurs scale their businesses, what do you normally do?

You probably ignore it.

Right?

Most people do.

And that's why cold outreach is such a difficult game.

You have to message a tremendous number of people just to start a few decent conversations.

Then you need to qualify them, overcome skepticism, and convince them to get on a call with somebody they don't know.

When Cold Outreach Actually Makes Sense

Now, I'm not saying this never works.

If you're starting from zero, you have absolutely no audience, and you have no money to spend on advertising, cold outreach can be a reasonable way to get your first few clients.

You can test an offer.

You can start conversations.

You can learn what your market is struggling with.

And potentially you can make some sales.

That's fine.

But personally, I'd still prefer to see somebody putting out content first and getting people at least somewhat interested in what they're talking about.

Because now you're not just a random stranger.

You're somebody they've seen. Somebody they've heard. Somebody whose ideas may already resonate with them.

That's a very different sales conversation.

Why Cold DM Funnels Eventually Break

Here's what I've found.

Cold outreach tends to attract more price shoppers.

When somebody doesn't know you, doesn't understand your methodology, and hasn't experienced your expertise, it's much easier for them to compare you to every other person selling something similar.

You become commoditized.

And what happens when you're commoditized?

People start making decisions based on price.

Not trust. Not your unique process. Not the transformation you provide.

Just price.

Then, if you want to scale, you usually end up needing more appointment setters, more messages, more conversations, more management, and more systems just to maintain the same level of activity.

I've experienced this.

It can become a freaking nightmare.

You're constantly feeding the outreach machine instead of building a brand that naturally creates demand.

So my ranking?

D-tier.

Useful for getting started or testing something, but not the business model I'd want to build my entire brand around.

#5: Evergreen Webinar Funnel — Good in Theory, Harder in Practice

Next is the evergreen webinar funnel.

This is where somebody sees an ad, registers for a prerecorded training, watches the presentation, and eventually gets pitched your offer.

Usually, it's automated to play at specific times or immediately after somebody registers.

And let me make something clear.

I know people running evergreen webinars who are absolutely crushing it.

So I'm not suggesting they don't work.

But personally, I haven't seen them performing as well recently compared to live presentations.

And I think there are a couple of reasons for that.

Problem #1: Most Webinars Teach Instead of Shifting Beliefs

This is probably one of the biggest mistakes I see people making.

They create a webinar and spend 45 minutes teaching people a bunch of information.

Here's step one.

Here's step two.

Here's step three.

Here's how to do this.

Here's how to do that.

And then at the end, they try to sell something.

The problem?

Information alone doesn't necessarily create the desire to buy.

Your audience might learn something useful, but that doesn't mean they're convinced they need your methodology, your coaching, or your offer.

There's a big difference between teaching somebody information and changing how they think about their problem.

And this is something we're going to come back to because it's one of the most important concepts in this entire article.

Problem #2: Prerecorded Content Can Lose Authenticity

I think people can feel when something is too scripted.

Too polished.

Too doctored up.

Even when I'm recording my YouTube videos, outside of a few talking points or something I've put together to show you, I'm generally not reading a script.

I'm sharing what I know.

Off the dome, as they say in freestyle.

And I believe there's something about that authenticity that builds trust.

When people are watching you live, they see how you think.

They hear how you explain things.

They can ask questions.

They experience you as a real person instead of somebody delivering a perfectly rehearsed presentation.

That matters.

Especially when you're asking somebody to potentially invest thousands or tens of thousands of dollars.

Why Evergreen Webinars Are Difficult to Scale

The other challenge is the level of skill required.

You need strong messaging.

You need a compelling presentation.

You need persuasive storytelling.

You need advertising that consistently attracts the right people.

And you need a funnel that keeps people watching long enough to actually see the offer.

That's a lot of moving parts.

I've tested prerecorded presentations extensively, including after spending years going live almost every single day.

And I'll be transparent.

Part of the reason I started experimenting more with prerecorded content was because I was getting tired of going live all the time.

Maybe I was being a little lazy.

But the results just weren't as strong for me.

So while evergreen can absolutely work with a proven offer and the right execution, it wouldn't be my first choice for somebody trying to establish authority and consistently sell high-ticket services.

#4: VSL Application Funnel — A Solid Sales Machine

Next is the VSL application funnel.

VSL stands for video sales letter.

This is a fairly traditional funnel where somebody sees an ad, lands on a page, watches a sales video, fills out an application, and books a call.

Simple enough.

And this can be a really effective way to create predictable lead volume once your messaging and offer are dialed in.

I'm a fan of VSLs.

We use them.

In fact, even with the businesses where we're running live masterclasses, we still have VSLs supporting the sales process.

But we've changed how we approach them.

Why Traditional VSL Funnels Can Struggle

One of the biggest challenges is that you don't always know how much of the video somebody actually watched.

Did they watch the entire presentation?

Did they skip through it?

Did they understand the main idea?

Did they develop the beliefs necessary to buy?

You don't necessarily know.

And unlike a live training, they can't raise their hand and ask a question.

So what happens?

A lot of the objections that could have been addressed before the call end up showing up during the sales conversation.

Or in the DMs.

Or they never book at all.

That's why I don't necessarily love relying exclusively on a traditional long-form VSL.

Why We're Using Micro-VSLs Instead

One thing we've been testing and using is what I call a micro-VSL.

It's a much shorter sales video designed to introduce the offer, communicate the core value, and help move somebody toward the next step.

Instead of forcing every prospect to watch a lengthy presentation, we're trying to make the process more efficient.

But the important thing is understanding what your VSL needs to accomplish.

It's not just about explaining features and benefits.

It needs to create the right beliefs.

It needs to help people understand why their current approach isn't producing the results they want.

It needs to introduce a different way.

And it needs to make your offer feel like the logical next step.

We'll get into exactly how to do that when I break down the live masterclass funnel.

Because the same principles apply.

#3: Organic Content + DM Funnel — One of My Favorites for Getting Started

Now we're getting into funnels that I really like.

And this next one is something I've personally used for years.

Organic content that drives people into your DMs.

You create content.

You introduce an idea.

You make an offer or invite people to raise their hands.

They comment or message you.

You start a conversation.

And from there, you potentially invite them onto a sales call.

Pretty straightforward.

But when you get the messaging right, this can work extremely well.

The Facebook Content Campaign That Helped Me Reach $50K Months

Let me give you an example.

Back when I was running my online fitness coaching business, I used to publish what I call hand-raiser posts.

One example from 2023 was something along the lines of:

If I gave away the holiday cash campaign I use to sign online fitness clients before New Year's, would you want to see it?

People would comment.

Then I'd start conversations in the DMs.

Sometimes I'd put a live training behind the campaign.

Other times, I'd simply use a two-step process.

Create content with a compelling call to action, get people to raise their hands, and move the right prospects toward a sales conversation.

This was one of the strategies that initially helped me grow to my first $50,000 months.

And here's why I think it's so valuable.

It allows you to prove your messaging before you start throwing money at advertising.

If I published something and nobody commented, nobody responded, and nobody messaged me, that told me something.

Maybe my hook wasn't compelling.

Maybe the offer wasn't positioned correctly.

Maybe I wasn't communicating a problem people actually cared enough about solving.

Whatever the reason, I had feedback.

And that feedback was incredibly valuable.

Organic Content Is Your Messaging Laboratory

This is how I want you to think about organic content.

It's not just something you do to get likes or followers.

It's where you test what your market responds to.

You can test:

  • Different problems your audience experiences

  • Different hooks and angles

  • Different beliefs you want to shift

  • Different offers and promises

  • Different calls to action

  • Different ways of communicating your unique methodology

And when you find something that consistently creates conversations, you have evidence that your messaging is resonating.

Now imagine taking that same message and putting advertising behind it.

That's a much better position to be in than guessing what people want and spending thousands of dollars trying to find out.

Why Organic DM Funnels Eventually Become Unpredictable

The downside is consistency.

Your results depend on how often you create content.

They depend on whether people see that content.

They depend on the algorithm.

They depend on your time and energy.

And there are a lot of variables you don't control.

You might have an incredible week where people are flooding your DMs.

Then the following week, things slow down.

And suddenly you're wondering where the leads went.

That's why I still love this funnel, but I don't believe it should be the only funnel once you're trying to scale a larger business.

We still use organic content and DM campaigns.

We just combine them with the next two funnels.

#2: Direct Call Booking Funnel — Catching Buyers Who Are Ready Now

Now we're getting into one of the highest-performing funnels we're currently using.

The direct call booking funnel.

This is where you run advertising directly to a booking page or application and invite people to schedule a call.

No mandatory webinar.

No long training.

No complicated sequence they have to go through first.

They see your message, they're interested, and they book.

And for the right offer, this can work extremely well.

In fact, one of the funnels I mentioned earlier that's generating significant revenue is a direct call booking funnel.

But there's something you need to understand.

Not Everybody in Your Market Is Ready to Buy

Think about your market in terms of buyer awareness.

There's a relatively small percentage of people who are ready to buy right now.

You may have heard the commonly cited idea that roughly 3% of a market is actively buying at any given time.

Then you have people who are researching solutions.

Others know they have a problem, but they haven't started looking for help.

And then there's an even larger group of people who aren't actively thinking about solving that problem yet.

Those percentages vary depending on the market, and I wouldn't get too caught up in the exact numbers.

The principle is what matters.

People are at different stages of awareness and readiness.

And when you run a direct call booking funnel, you're primarily going after people who already know they want a solution.

They're actively researching.

They're comparing options.

Or they're ready to talk to somebody now.

That's great.

You absolutely want a way for those people to raise their hands.

But what about everybody else?

What about the person who's frustrated with their current results but doesn't believe a different approach will work?

What about the person who wants what you offer but thinks the problem is something else entirely?

What about the person who's interested but isn't convinced you're the right person to help?

Those people may not be ready to book a call.

Not yet.

Why a Direct Call Funnel Should Be One Door, Not the Only Door

This is how I think about it.

You want to give your market different ways to enter your world.

One door is for people who are ready to talk now.

They can book a call.

Awesome.

But another door should help people who need a little more trust, education, perspective, and belief before they're ready to make that decision.

And that's exactly where the live masterclass comes in.

When we pair a direct booking funnel with a live masterclass funnel, we consistently see a stronger overall sales process than relying on call bookings alone.

Why?

Because we're not forcing every prospect to be at the same stage of readiness.

We're meeting them where they are.

And that's a big deal.

#1: Live Masterclass Funnel — The Best High-Ticket Funnel I'm Seeing in 2026

Alright.

This is my favorite.

And if you're selling high-ticket coaching, consulting, or professional services, I really want you to pay attention to this.

The live masterclass funnel.

Some people call it a webinar.

Some people call it a workshop.

I personally like the term masterclass because I believe it positions the experience a little differently.

But the name isn't the important part.

The important part is what happens during the presentation.

Typically, we're running ads, organic content, emails, and other promotions to get people registered for a live training.

Then we deliver that training through Zoom, a Facebook group, or another live format.

And at the end, we either sell the offer directly or invite people to book a call.

Sounds simple, right?

But here's where most people get it wrong.

They think the masterclass is about teaching.

It's not.

At least, not in the traditional sense.

A high-converting masterclass is about shifting beliefs and creating demand.

And there are four things I believe every effective masterclass needs to sell before you ever present your actual offer.

The Four Things Your Masterclass Must Sell

1. A New Belief

You need your audience to see their problem differently.

There's something they currently believe that's preventing them from getting the result they want.

Your job is to help them recognize why that belief may be wrong and introduce a more useful perspective.

2. An Aspirational Identity

Who do they become when they get the result?

What changes in their life?

How do they see themselves differently?

People aren't just buying information or a process.

They're buying the possibility of becoming a different version of themselves.

3. Your Unique Methodology

Once somebody believes a different result is possible, they naturally want to know how to achieve it.

This is where your unique mechanism or methodology comes in.

You need to demonstrate why your process is different and why it makes sense.

4. Social Proof

You have to show people that this actually works.

Stories.

Examples.

Real client results.

Evidence that your methodology produces the transformation you're describing.

Think about what I did at the beginning of this article.

I showed you actual funnel numbers from businesses I'm working with.

Why?

Because if I just sat here talking about how great these funnels are without showing you any proof, you'd have a lot less reason to believe me.

As I like to say, the proof is in the pudding, my friends.

Now, let's talk about how to actually make this work.

How to Build a Live Masterclass That Converts

There are a few moving pieces here.

But I want to keep this simple because you don't need to overcomplicate it.

Step 1: Start With a Hook Your Market Actually Cares About

This is absolutely crucial.

You could have the greatest training in the world, but if nobody is interested in the topic, nobody's going to show up.

And you can't sell to an empty room.

Let's say you're a fitness coach helping people lose stubborn belly fat.

You could run a masterclass called:

Three Mistakes You're Making When Trying to Lose Belly Fat.

Okay.

That's fine, I guess.

But it's pretty commoditized.

People have seen that a thousand times.

There's nothing particularly new, interesting, or compelling about it.

Now imagine you introduce a unique angle.

Maybe it's a specific hormonal approach, a particular methodology, or a client story that challenges something your audience already believes.

You could build a hook around the specific process a client used to overcome a frustrating weight-loss plateau.

I'm making this example up right now, but you get the idea.

Novelty matters. Specificity matters. And the language you use matters.

Here's a Real Example From the Wellness Industry

In the wellness business I'm helping grow, we know that one of the biggest concerns our audience has is compliance.

These are nurses and medical professionals who want to launch IV hydration or wellness businesses.

But they're worried about things like medical directors, protocols, regulations, and whether they're doing everything correctly.

So instead of creating some generic masterclass called How to Start an IV Business, we can introduce a more compelling angle.

Something like:

The Five Compliance Myths Holding Nurses Back From Launching Their IV Business — And How to Get Started and Work Toward Your First 10 Clients in 30 Days.

Now we're talking directly to a problem they already care about.

We're introducing curiosity.

We're suggesting that something they currently believe might be wrong.

And we're connecting that to an outcome they want.

That's a much stronger hook.

Step 2: Build a 7–10 Day Promotional Campaign

Once you've nailed your hook, the next step is getting people registered.

Typically, I like a promotional runway of about seven days, maybe ten days maximum.

During that time, you're creating different pieces of content centered around the masterclass.

You might use:

  • Organic social media posts

  • Emails to your list

  • Short-form videos

  • SMS messages

  • Hand-raiser posts

  • Paid advertising

  • Direct invitations to people who've already expressed interest

But here's the important part.

You're not just repeating the same announcement over and over.

You're creating different angles around the central idea.

Maybe one piece of content challenges a common belief.

Another tells a story.

Another highlights the cost of continuing to do things the old way.

Another introduces a client result.

And each piece creates more curiosity and more desire to attend.

Think of your hook as the North Star for the entire promotional campaign.

Everything points back to it.

Step 3: Get Enough People Registered

For many of the companies I work with, we're typically aiming for at least 100 registrations.

Now, this depends entirely on your goals.

We've found that a reasonable planning assumption is that around half of the registrants might actually attend live.

So if you register 100 people, you might have approximately 50 show up.

If you only need 10 people attending, maybe you aim for 20 to 25 registrations instead.

The exact number isn't the point.

The point is that you need to work backward from your goal.

How many sales do you want?

How many calls would that require?

How many attendees do you need to generate those calls?

And how many registrations do you need to get those attendees?

Then build your promotional campaign around that.

You need to get butts in seats.

Virtual seats, obviously.

But you get what I'm saying.

Step 4: Stop Teaching Information and Start Shifting Beliefs

This is where the magic really happens.

Most coaches get on a masterclass and immediately start teaching people tactics.

And look, I love teaching.

But if you're selling a high-ticket offer, your goal shouldn't be to overwhelm people with information.

Your goal should be to help them see something differently.

The Weight-Loss Example

Let's say you're helping moms lose weight.

And one of the biggest beliefs your audience has is that their genetics are preventing them from losing weight.

Or maybe they believe they just haven't found the right diet yet.

They've tried keto.

They've tried intermittent fasting.

They've tried cutting carbs.

They've tried eating less.

Nothing seems to stick.

So they continue searching for the next diet.

Now, imagine your entire methodology is built around helping them understand that the issue isn't simply finding another diet.

You introduce a different perspective.

Maybe you help them see why their current approach isn't sustainable and why your methodology addresses the problem differently.

Suddenly, they're thinking:

Wait a minute. Maybe I've been approaching this the wrong way.

That's what you're trying to create.

A new belief.

Because when somebody starts believing something different, they start thinking differently.

And when they think differently, their decisions and behaviors can change.

That's what makes belief-shifting content so powerful.

Storytelling Is One of the Best Ways to Shift Beliefs

You don't have to lecture people into changing their minds.

In fact, I think that's usually one of the least effective ways to do it.

Instead, use stories.

Tell your own story.

Tell a client story.

Use an analogy.

Use a metaphor.

Show somebody what they believed before, what changed, and what became possible afterward.

You're helping them arrive at a new conclusion.

And when they arrive at that conclusion themselves, it's often far more powerful than simply telling them what to think.

Dude, I'm telling you.

If you can get good at this, it will improve so much more than your masterclasses.

Your organic content gets better.

Your sales calls get better.

Your VSLs get better.

Your emails get better.

Because you're no longer just distributing information.

You're changing the way people understand their problems and the solutions available to them.

Step 5: Sell the Identity and Introduce Your Unique Method

Once somebody starts believing a different outcome is possible, the next question becomes:

How do I actually achieve that?

This is where you introduce your methodology.

But before you get into the process, help them see who they could become.

Let's go back to the weight-loss example.

You're not just helping somebody lose 20 pounds.

You're helping them become somebody who's confident in their body.

Somebody who doesn't constantly stress about food.

Somebody who feels comfortable wearing the clothes they want to wear.

Somebody who believes they can maintain their results.

That's the aspirational identity.

Then you show them the process that makes that transformation possible.

How I Used to Teach My Fitness Methodology

Back when I was running my online fitness business, I had a methodology built around solving stubborn fat loss.

One of the components was called Flex Fuel Nutrition.

So instead of getting on a masterclass and spending 30 minutes teaching people how to calculate macros, I could introduce Flex Fuel Nutrition as one of the pillars of my stubborn fat solution.

I'd explain why it mattered.

What made it different.

How it fit into the overall process.

And how that approach helped people work toward losing their last 20 pounds of stubborn belly fat.

See the difference?

I'm not just handing somebody another tactic.

I'm giving them a new perspective on the process.

I'm helping them understand why the methodology exists and how it solves the problem differently.

And then I can support that with client stories.

Here's what somebody was struggling with.

Here's what they tried before.

Here's what changed.

Here's how they applied the methodology.

And here's the result they achieved.

Now the process becomes more believable.

And more desirable.

That's how you create demand for your actual offer instead of simply giving people a bunch of information they could probably find on YouTube.

Step 6: Make the Offer or Book Calls

Once you've done this correctly, selling becomes a much more natural transition.

You've helped people see their problem differently.

You've introduced a new possibility.

You've shown them who they can become.

You've demonstrated your methodology.

And you've provided proof.

So now, when you introduce your offer, it actually makes sense.

You're not randomly switching from teaching to pitching.

You're simply showing them how they can get help implementing the process you've already introduced.

Depending on the offer, you might sell directly from the masterclass.

Or you might invite people to book a sales call.

I've had clients use this approach to generate 10, 12, 15, even 20 booked calls from a single masterclass.

Think about that for a second.

Instead of spending the entire month trying to convince individual people to get on your calendar, you're bringing people together, building trust at scale, and creating a concentrated opportunity for sales conversations.

And those people often show up with a much better understanding of what you do and why it matters.

That's incredibly powerful.

Why I Still Believe Live Beats Recorded

I've been testing live presentations for years.

At one point, I was going live almost every single day.

And it worked.

Eventually, I got tired and started testing more prerecorded formats.

But every time I come back to live presentations, I continue to see how powerful they can be.

There's something about being in the room.

Even if that room is virtual.

People can interact with you.

They can ask questions.

They can see how you think.

They can feel your confidence and conviction.

And you can respond to what's happening in real time.

That's difficult to replicate with a prerecorded presentation.

Which is why, based on my testing, live masterclasses continue to outperform recorded presentations for the kinds of high-ticket offers I'm working with.

Which Funnel Should You Use Based on Your Current Revenue?

Now, I want to give you a practical next step.

Because I don't think everybody should immediately jump into paid ads and sophisticated funnel systems.

Your strategy should depend on where your business is right now.

Start conversations.

Understand what people are responding to.

And prove that your message can generate demand before you start spending a bunch of money trying to scale it.

You can absolutely run a live masterclass at this stage.

Maybe you host it in a Facebook group.

Maybe you use Zoom.

But I'd focus on developing the skill of attracting and converting people organically first.

Because if your message isn't working organically, spending money on advertising probably isn't going to solve the underlying problem.

20K–50K Per Month: Add a Monthly Live Masterclass

Once you're consistently generating around $20,000 to $50,000 per month, you've probably learned a few things.

You know who your buyers are.

You understand what they're struggling with.

You have a clearer offer.

And you've started identifying the messaging that resonates.

This is where I'd begin introducing a live masterclass every single month.

Use your email list.

Promote it through social media.

Create a seven-to-ten-day content campaign.

Bring people into a live room.

Shift beliefs.

Demonstrate your process.

And invite qualified prospects to take the next step.

Now you're creating a more repeatable mechanism for generating sales conversations instead of relying entirely on individual posts.

$50K+ Per Month: Build a Two-Door Funnel System

Once you're consistently generating $50,000 or more per month, this is where I'd start thinking about creating multiple entry points into your business.

For example:

Door #1: Direct Call Booking Funnel

Run advertising to people who are already problem-aware, solution-aware, or actively looking for help.

Give them a simple way to book a call.

Door #2: Live Masterclass Funnel

Run advertising and content campaigns that invite people to a live masterclass.

Build trust.

Shift beliefs.

Introduce the methodology.

And generate more qualified, pre-sold buyers.

Then continue using organic content, DM campaigns, and micro-VSLs to support both.

This is much closer to what we're doing in the businesses I mentioned at the beginning.

We're not relying on one funnel.

We're combining multiple ways for people to discover us, understand our value, and take the next step.

And we're doing it with messaging we've already tested.

The Biggest Lesson From Testing These Funnels for 13 Years

If there's one thing I want you to take away from this, it's this:

The best funnel isn't necessarily the one that gets somebody onto a sales call the fastest. It's the one that creates enough trust and belief for the right person to want to buy.

That's a very different way of thinking about marketing.

Most people focus on the mechanics.

The landing page.

The automation.

The application.

The calendar.

The follow-up sequence.

And yes, all those things matter.

But they're not the foundation.

The foundation is your ability to communicate.

To understand the problems your market is experiencing.

To articulate those problems better than your competitors.

To introduce perspectives that shift the way people think.

To demonstrate a methodology that feels different and valuable.

And to build enough trust that people actually want to work with you.

That's why I'm such a big believer in live masterclasses.

When they're done correctly, they allow you to do all those things at scale.

You're not just getting people to consume another piece of content.

You're helping them see a different future and understand how your offer can help them get there.

And when you combine that with a direct call booking funnel and organic content that consistently generates conversations, you've got a pretty powerful system.

Your Next Move

Here's what I'd encourage you to do.

Look at your current business.

Look at how you're generating leads.

Look at how you're converting those leads into sales conversations.

And ask yourself:

Am I actually building trust before asking people to buy?

Or am I just trying to push more people into a funnel and hoping they convert?

If you're just getting started, prove your messaging organically.

If you're already making consistent sales, introduce a monthly masterclass.

And if you're ready to scale, start combining a live masterclass with a direct call booking funnel so you're reaching buyers at different stages of readiness.

But whatever you do, don't lose sight of the most important thing.

Your message is what creates demand. Your funnel is simply how you capture and convert it.

Get that right, and everything else becomes a heck of a lot easier.
