Most business owners are sitting on a goldmine and don’t even realize it.
There’s a really simple way to monetize the heck out of your social media right now—and yet, almost nobody is doing it.
Over the past few months, I’ve consulted with six-figure, multiple-six-figure, even a few seven- and eight-figure online brands.
Not one of them was doing what I’m about to share with you.
When I walked them through this strategy—step by step—many of them saw an immediate increase in the quality of leads flowing into their business.
Some literally doubled or even tripled the amount of consultations they booked.
And in every case, they improved their sales.
And get this:
All of them were already posting content.
Many of them were running ads.
Some had fancy funnels.
But here’s the kicker…
The Old “Linear Funnel” Is Dead
For years the go-to playbook was:
Post a “two-step” post.
DM everybody who liked or commented.
Send them a lead magnet.

That kind of linear funnel can still work organically…

Your real stories.
And use non-linear funnels—because that’s how people actually buy now.
The Real Game: Bring People Into Your World
If you can invite people to live inside your world…
…and you’ve set up a strong lead nurture process…
You’ll:
Build the know-like-trust factor faster than everyone else.
Stand out because most people aren’t doing it.
Generate quality leads (not just volume).
Book more consultations.
Close more sales.
That’s the whole game.
And the system for doing it is way simpler than most think.
I’m going to walk you through 4 Core Elements (+ a bonus) that make this work.
1. Nail Your Messaging
Think of messaging like the foundation of a house.
If it’s off, nothing else—ads, posts, funnels—matters.
In simple terms:
Say the right words in the right way to the right people… in a compelling way.
Most coaches and business owners think they’re doing this, but they’re not.
Their words are generic.
They’re either speaking in coach-speak or parroting what everyone else says.
It doesn’t land with their ideal clients.
Get Specific to Connect
Let’s say you’re in weight loss, trying to reach working moms or dads.
Most coaches talk about:
“Fixing your hormones”
“Boosting your metabolism”
“Dropping 10 pounds”
The problem is—everyone says that.
Instead, use the language they naturally use when talking to friends.
For example:
“Hey, are you trying to lose those last few inches of love-handle fluff that just won’t budge?”
That one line connects far more than any jargon.
Tell Stories, Not Just Share Tips
This is where most people drop the ball.
They post information:
“Do this workout.”
“Eat these five foods.”
But information is a commodity.
Stories create connection.
Imagine you share the story of your client Jan:
A busy working mom
Juggling kids, career, and life
Finally figured out how to drop the stubborn weight
That story connects way deeper than a list of tips.
It bridges prospects into your world.
The Three Messaging Must-Haves
Speak in specifics. Make it tangible.
Use stories. They bridge the gap and build trust.
Have a unique mechanism. A “big idea” that separates you from the noise.
Back in my fitness days, I called mine the “Stubborn Fat Solution.”
Today in my current business, it’s things like the Hero Messaging Framework.
When you’ve got these three pieces in place, you’re no longer just another voice in the feed.
You’re the coach or brand that finally makes sense.
2. Create Demand-Trigger Content
Every buyer is driven by certain psychological triggers.
Think about buying a house.
You already want it.
Then you see a billboard, an ad, or a post that suddenly tips you from want into “I need to do this now.”
That’s demand being triggered.
As legendary copywriter Eugene Schwartz said:
“The copywriter’s job is not to create desire… but to channel it into demand.”
Your audience already wants:
To lose weight
To make more money
To have better relationships
…whatever it is you help with
You don’t have to create that desire.
You just have to channel it.
How to Channel Desire Into Demand
Ask yourself:
“What hooks and calls-to-action will speak to the desire they already have… and channel it toward my offer?”
For example, if you’re a weight-loss coach recording this in late fall:
People want to slim down for the holidays or get a jump on the New Year.
A piece of demand-trigger content might be:
“Here’s how to drop 10 pounds of stubborn fat in the next six weeks… so you can walk into the holidays feeling lean and confident.”
That single idea will outperform 10 generic posts.
Use it in:
Text posts
Captions under images
Reels
Emails
Even as the theme for a live workshop or masterclass
When you start thinking this way, you stop sounding like everyone else and start triggering the natural demand that’s already there.
3. Map Out Conversion Events
A Conversion Event is any live or semi-live event designed to convert your audience into paying clients.
This could be:
A workshop
A live training
A masterclass
A challenge
The key is: it’s not just for teaching… it’s for shifting beliefs.
In 2021, I developed something I call Conversion Content Campaigns.
These are simple 3- to 7-day campaigns built around strong hooks and calls-to-action… all driving traffic to the conversion event.
Why Belief-Shifting Matters More Than Teaching
Information doesn’t convert.
Belief shifts do.
When you shift someone’s belief, you create a need for your solution.
Back in my fitness days, everyone thought success came from “eating healthy.”
I taught them the real key was eating right—hitting the right calories and proportions.
I’d share stories of clients who were “eating healthy” but stuck…
…then show how adjusting proportions unlocked fat loss.
That single belief shift created massive demand for my coaching.
Do the same in your niche:
Identify the myth your audience believes.
Replace it with the truth you teach.
Tell stories that prove it.
Make It Live If Possible
Can you record it? Sure.
But live events:
Build more trust.
Create real-time interaction.
Drive better conversions.
And at the end, you simply make the call-to-action:

Or DM you for details
The conversion event becomes the monetization vehicle.
4. Build a Content Ecosystem Calendar
This is the piece most business owners skip.
They chase random posts instead of building an ecosystem that nurtures leads over time.
Think of it like a Bermuda Triangle for leads—except instead of losing ships, you’re capturing attention.
Your ecosystem has 3 Points:
1. Top-of-Funnel Platform
Typically Facebook or Instagram.
Great for:
Posting demand-trigger content
Running campaigns
Driving traffic into your world
2. Your Email List
This is yours—you own it.
Repurpose your best posts here.
Promote your conversion events here.
Leverage demand-trigger content here.
3. Long-Form Nurture Channel
YouTube or a Podcast (or both).
This is where prospects can binge hours of your content.
It deepens trust and makes your offers a no-brainer.
I’ve run my own podcast since 2020/2021.
It’s consistently been one of our highest-converting channels.
Why Ecosystems Work
Google’s research—echoed by Meta—shows what they call the 7-11-4 Rule:
People need to consume about 7 hours of content
Across 11 different touchpoints
On 4 different platforms
…before they trust you enough to buy.
Your ecosystem makes that easy:
They see a short post on IG.
Join your email list.
Watch your YouTube video or attend a workshop.
Read another email.
See another story.
Piece by piece, they’re living in your world.
Putting It All Together
Here’s the full flow:
Dial in your messaging. Specific, story-driven, unique mechanism.
Publish demand-trigger content. Speak to what they already want.
Run Conversion Content Campaigns. Drive people into live conversion events that shift beliefs.
Nurture them inside your ecosystem. Build trust over time.
This is the simple, non-linear funnel that’s working now.
It’s how you:
Generate higher-quality leads
Book more consultations
Close more sales
Build a brand people trust
Final Thoughts
Most business owners today are stuck at the top of the funnel.

Chasing reach on social
