We Make $138K/Month With One Sales Funnel (You Don't Need More Leads)

October 01, 2026•25 min read

How We Generated $138K in Cash in 30 Days Using One Funnel + AI

In the last 30 days, we’ve done $138,000 in cash collected using essentially one funnel and AI to create leverage.

And over the last nine or ten months in 2026, we’ve done a little over $1.9 million in sales, and we’re trending toward crossing $2 million very soon.

Now, I’m not sharing that to just throw numbers around.

My intention here is really two things.

First, I want to show you the behind-the-scenes of what we’re actually doing so you can take some of these principles, put them into your own offer and your own business, and hopefully get better results.

And secondly, quite transparently, I’m documenting this process for myself.

Because when something works, I want to understand:

Why did it work?

What were the actual needle movers?

What can we rinse and repeat?

What should we stop doing?

And how can we create more leverage around the things that are already producing results?

So I figured, why not document it publicly?

Because there are a few things we’ve learned through this process that I think are incredibly important whether you’re a coach, consultant, health or fitness expert, relationship coach, sales consultant, or really anybody selling expertise online.

And the biggest thing I want you to understand is this:

We did not win because we magically found more leads.

We won because we got dramatically better at converting the attention and leads we were already generating.

That distinction matters.

A lot.

The Problem Wasn’t Lead Flow

Our offer helps nurses start and grow IV therapy clinics, med spas, aesthetics businesses, and other wellness businesses.

And we were already generating leads.

Plenty of them.

The problem wasn’t necessarily getting somebody to raise their hand.

The problem was what happened after they raised their hand.

We weren’t converting enough of those leads into conversations.

We weren’t converting enough conversations into calls.

And ultimately, we weren’t converting enough of those opportunities into clients and cash.

So instead of immediately saying:

“We need more ads.”

Or:

“We need more leads.”

Or:

“Maybe we need another funnel.”

We went backward.

We looked at what every single conversion asset was saying.

The ads.

The landing pages.

The booking pages.

The emails.

The masterclasses.

The sales pages.

The sales conversations.

Everything.

And then we started running those assets through a much simpler funnel with much stronger messaging.

That was the unlock.

Step 1: Nail Your Conversion Messaging

Before you worry about funnels, ads, automations, AI, or anything else, you need to get the messaging right.

And I call this conversion messaging.

Because there are really stages to messaging.

In the beginning, most people aren’t completely sure what they need to say.

You’re posting on Instagram.

You’re posting on Facebook.

Maybe you’re creating YouTube videos.

Maybe you’re emailing.

And you’re basically putting different ideas into the market and trying to figure out:

What gets people to respond?

What gets attention?

What creates conversations?

What actually turns into clients?

That’s normal.

Then eventually you figure something out.

Something starts working.

And once you know what works organically, now you can start putting some fuel behind it.

You can advertise.

You can scale.

You can start creating systems around it.

Everything is hunky dory.

Until it isn’t.

Because eventually the market gets smarter.

Your Market Is Constantly Getting More Sophisticated

There’s this concept called market sophistication.

Basically, your audience gets wiser.

They’ve seen the same promises.

They’ve heard the same hooks.

They’ve watched the same ads.

They’ve downloaded the same PDFs.

They’ve attended the same webinars.

They’ve heard 47 people tell them:

“Here are the three secrets to finally getting the result you want.”

Eventually, the same message stops hitting the way it used to.

That means messaging and positioning are not something you figure out once and never touch again.

It’s iterative.

It never ends.

I don’t care how big the company is.

I’ve consulted with businesses doing eight and nine figures, and they’re still constantly going behind the scenes looking at:

What are we saying?

How are we saying it?

What is the market responding to?

What language does our buyer actually use?

What beliefs have changed?

What is becoming stale?

What needs to be sharpened?

Messaging never ends.

But especially if you’re under $50K or $100K per month, you really need to nail this.

Because a mediocre funnel with great messaging can work incredibly well.

A beautiful funnel with weak messaging?

It’s probably just a beautiful funnel nobody buys from.

Map the Gap Between Who They Are and Who They Want to Become

One of the first things we did before touching the ads or funnel was map out exactly where our ideal client was today and who they actually wanted to become.

Because that gap becomes the language of your marketing.

Think about your ideal client right now.

Who are they before working with you?

Not just demographically.

I’m talking about their identity.

What is their struggling identity?

For us, it was pretty clear.

The Struggling Identity: The Burned-Out Nurse

Our person is often a nurse working long shifts.

They’re short-staffed.

They’re working the floor.

They’re trading their time for a paycheck.

They already have the clinical skill.

That’s not the problem.

The problem is they don’t necessarily have the business playbook.

They know how to care for patients.

They know medicine.

They know how to do their job.

But they don’t know:

  • How to structure the business

  • How to get the right medical oversight

  • How to deal with compliance

  • How to find vendors

  • How to market themselves

  • How to get clients

  • How to think like a business owner

And maybe most importantly, they identify as a nurse.

Not yet as the owner of a successful wellness business.

That’s a massive distinction.

Because if I want that person to buy, I have to help them see another possibility.

Sell the Aspirational Identity

We had to get that nurse to see herself as something more.

Not because we’re trying to manipulate her into becoming somebody she doesn’t want to become.

Quite the opposite.

We’re helping her see the identity she already desires.

She wants to be the clinic owner.

She wants to own an IV therapy or wellness business.

She wants more control over her schedule.

She wants her income tied to what she builds instead of only the number of shifts she works.

She wants to feel confident.

She wants to feel proud.

She wants to look back and say:

“Holy crap. I built this.”

That is what you’re really selling.

And this is where I think Steve Jobs is one of the greatest examples ever.

Steve Jobs Wasn’t Just Selling Computers

Steve Jobs didn’t just stand on stage and sell you the specifications of an iPhone, iPad, or MacBook.

He sold you into an identity.

The innovator.

The creator.

The forward thinker.

The person who thinks differently.

The person who is ahead of the curve.

And when you bought into that identity, buying the product became natural.

You wanted the Mac.

You wanted the iPhone.

You wanted the iPad.

Not only because of what the device did.

But because of what owning it represented about you.

The greatest speakers do this.

The greatest thought leaders do this.

The greatest companies in the world do this.

They sell you into an identity.

And we need to do the same thing in our marketing.

Your Messaging Should Move Them From Struggle to Aspiration

Messaging obviously goes much deeper than this.

There’s your unique mechanism.

Your stories.

Your beliefs.

Your positioning.

Your promise.

Your proof.

All of that matters.

But if you can just get incredibly clear on these two things:

Who are they today?

And:

Who are they trying to become?

You immediately have better language.

You can start pulling phrases from the struggle and phrases from the aspiration and weaving them throughout your entire marketing ecosystem.

That’s exactly what we did.

We rewrote our conversion assets around this language.

Our:

  • Ads

  • Opt-in pages

  • Booking pages

  • Follow-up emails

  • Masterclasses

  • Sales pages

  • Sales conversations

Everything started speaking the same language.

That was step one.

Conversion messaging.

Step 2: Build a Simple Funnel Around the Message

Then we built the funnel.

And honestly, there’s nothing exotic about it.

We have paid traffic coming in and essentially two doors people can walk through.

Door #1: Book a Call

If somebody is ready now, great.

They can book a call.

Simple.

Door #2: Attend a Live Masterclass

Everyone else gets moved toward a live masterclass where we can pre-sell them first.

And when I say pre-sell, I don’t mean aggressively pitching people.

I mean shifting the beliefs they need to shift before buying makes sense.

Now, we’re using paid advertising because we already know this works.

That part is important.

If you’re doing $20K, $30K, $40K a month and still trying to figure out your positioning, message, and offer, I would probably start organically.

Figure out what people respond to.

Figure out what creates conversations.

Figure out what actually converts.

Then once you know the machine works, pour rocket fuel on the baby.

That’s where ads become powerful.

At the time of recording this, we’re averaging somewhere around 20 to 30 leads a day from ads.

And we’re booking somewhere around eight to ten calls a day.

That stacks up pretty dang quickly.

But simply having more calls created another problem.

More Calls Aren’t Always the Answer

When you run everything straight into a booking funnel, you can end up with a ton of calls.

And at first that sounds amazing.

Until your calendar is stacked.

Your sales team is stacked.

You have triage calls.

Qualification calls.

Sales calls.

Follow-ups.

Maybe two-step or three-step call processes.

And suddenly you have this giant sales machine that takes a tremendous amount of human energy to operate.

It gets long.

It gets exhausting.

So we started leaning much harder into the live masterclass.

And this is where things started becoming really interesting.

Because the masterclass does something a booking page can’t.

It starts selling before the sales conversation ever happens.

The Masterclass Is the Engine That Pre-Sells the Buyer

Think about the live masterclass like a microwave.

You put somebody in cold.

And if you do this properly, you start heating them up.

You’re changing perspectives.

You’re shifting beliefs.

You’re showing them possibilities.

You’re giving them proof.

You’re helping them understand the path.

You keep heating that person up until they’re ready to pop.

In this case, buy.

Apparently I’m thinking about popcorn as I’m writing this.

But you get the idea.

And because we’ve done the selling before the sales call, the call itself becomes dramatically different.

We aren’t trying to convince a soul.

We’re diagnosing.

We’re answering questions.

We’re determining fit.

And because our particular offer is somewhat of a business-opportunity-type offer, there are naturally a lot of questions.

Legal questions.

Compliance questions.

State questions.

Service questions.

Medical director questions.

Business questions.

But the fundamental selling has already happened.

That’s what you want.

The sales call should not be the first time somebody becomes sold on your way of solving their problem.

Ideally, the sale starts happening long before they ever talk to you.

Step 3: Use a Live Masterclass to Make Four Sales

I’ve done masterclasses and workshops across multiple offers and businesses over the years.

And in my experience, the live version has always converted better.

I’m not talking about a webinar where you teach people 47 random tips and then randomly throw an offer on the end.

That’s not what we’re doing.

Every part of the presentation has a job.

And every section is designed to make a sale before the offer even appears.

There are four big sales happening.

Sale #1: The New Belief

The first thing you need to sell is the new belief.

Ask yourself:

What must my ideal client believe in order to want to buy from me?

Because there’s usually an old belief keeping them stuck.

Your job is to identify that old belief and replace it with one that moves them forward.

For the nurses we work with, that might sound something like:

“You already know the hard part. You already have the clinical skill. You don’t need to become a better nurse before starting your business. What you need is the business and compliance playbook around the expertise you already have.”

Now the person starts thinking differently.

Compare that to health and weight loss.

Maybe your ideal client believes:

“I can’t lose weight because of my genetics.”

Or:

“The only way I’m going to lose this belly fat is by cutting out every carb and eating chicken and broccoli for the rest of my life.”

If that belief conflicts with your solution, you need to shift it.

Because beliefs create thoughts.

Thoughts influence feelings and actions.

And if you never shift the underlying belief, it becomes incredibly hard to get somebody to act differently.

That’s why your content should not just teach.

It should shift beliefs.

Sale #2: The Aspirational Identity

The second sale is the identity we talked about earlier.

Who does this person want to become?

For the nurse, maybe it’s:

Successful clinic owner.

Freedom.

Ownership.

Her own schedule.

A business she built.

For a mom trying to lose weight, it might be completely different.

Maybe she wants to be the role model for her kids.

Maybe she wants to put on a two-piece bathing suit and feel freaking amazing.

Maybe she wants to look in the mirror and recognize herself again.

Maybe she wants energy to play with her children.

That’s what I want you thinking about.

What mountain is this person actually trying to climb?

Because “lose 20 pounds” might be the measurable result.

But there’s usually something much deeper underneath it.

The more clearly you can paint that picture, the stronger your marketing becomes.

People buy who they get to become.

And if they can vividly see themselves inside the after picture, your offer starts feeling much more relevant.

This is exactly what Steve Jobs understood.

He sold people the identity.

And when somebody buys into the identity, they will line up outside your digital store to buy the thing that helps them become it.

Sale #3: The Unique Solution

Then we sell the unique solution.

Your person doesn’t need more random information.

They probably already have too much freaking information.

Google exists.

YouTube exists.

ChatGPT exists.

They don’t need another person giving them 17 unrelated tips.

They need the way.

A process.

A methodology.

A path from where they are to where they want to go.

For us, that’s a step-by-step methodology for helping a nurse launch the business in 30 days or less.

There’s a finish line.

There’s an action plan.

There are clear steps.

That matters because newer business owners often don’t know what they’re supposed to do next.

They’re overwhelmed.

They’re researching 19 different things.

They’re watching YouTube videos.

They’re asking questions in Facebook groups.

They’re calling attorneys.

They’re talking to pharmacies.

They’re reading conflicting advice.

And nobody has said:

Here. Do this first. Then this. Then this.

That’s the value of the methodology.

Give Your Method a Name

I’ve done this throughout almost every business I’ve built.

When I had my online fitness business and was helping people lose stubborn belly fat, I had the Stubborn Fat Solution.

Really freaking clear.

They knew the problem.

They knew the solution.

Then inside the methodology, I had names for how we approached exercise, nutrition, mindset, and the other pieces of the process.

I’ve done the same thing with messaging.

I’ve called parts of that process things like a Magic Messaging Makeover.

Because essentially that’s what we’re doing.

We’re taking all the words you’re using right now.

Some of them we throw out.

Some we keep.

Some we refine.

Some we make stronger.

Some need to shift beliefs more effectively.

And at the end, you have much stronger conversion messaging.

It gives somebody something tangible to buy into.

That’s the point.

You want the prospect to think:

“Ahhh. That makes sense. That’s the way I need to do this.”

Once they buy into your methodology, everything becomes easier.

Now they have:

  1. A new belief.

  2. An identity they want.

  3. A unique process that can bridge the gap.

Then we add the fourth piece.

Sale #4: Proof That It Works

Proof.

And specifically, proof from people like them.

For us, we’ve helped over 1,000 nurses through the process.

That gives us a tremendous amount of proof to work with.

And we’ve tested this in different ways.

We’ve used simple selfie testimonials.

Nothing fancy.

A client gets on camera and talks about their experience.

We’ve also had live panels where we bring successful clients into the masterclass and let them tell their stories.

We tell client stories ourselves.

We use pictures.

We share screenshots.

There are a million ways to do this.

But the principle is the same.

Stories Change What People Believe Is Possible

Stories are one of the most powerful ways to change somebody’s emotion and perspective.

Because now they’re not just hearing you make a claim.

They’re seeing another person.

A real person.

Somebody who was in the same situation.

Somebody who struggled with the same thing.

Somebody who had the same fear.

And now they’re seeing that person on the other side.

That does something psychologically that another bullet point just can’t do.

Your own story can be powerful too.

Absolutely.

But in my opinion, client stories are often even stronger because the prospect is thinking:

“That person is like me.”

And that’s what you want.

The Principles Underneath the Strategy

Now, funnels change.

Platforms change.

Algorithms change.

AI tools change.

Tactics change.

But the principles underneath what we’re doing are much more durable.

These are the things I would write down.

Principle #1: Message Before Traffic

This might be the most important one.

Fix the message before you add more traffic.

Because more advertising into weak messaging just buys you more unqualified leads.

That’s it.

If your words aren’t attracting the right person now, spending more money doesn’t magically fix that.

It amplifies it.

The same is true organically.

I’ve audited tons of businesses where somebody says:

“Jason, I don’t understand. I’m getting leads.”

Then I look at their Instagram.

They’ll post a Reel.

It gets thousands of views.

Hundreds of comments.

Everybody wants the free thing.

And then they’re pulling teeth trying to get one person to book a call.

They’re thinking:

“What the heck is going on?”

The problem is not reach.

The problem is the message attracted people who wanted the content but didn’t desire the solution strongly enough to buy.

The Strawberry Ice Cream Problem

I’ll give you a ridiculous example.

I have two kids.

Earlier this year, my seven-year-old son had his tonsils removed.

And I know this kid loves strawberries.

He likes blueberries.

He likes fruit.

So I asked him:

“Hey buddy, do you want some strawberry ice cream?”

And he looked at me like I had just offered him dog food.

He was like:

“Gross. No.”

So I said:

“All right, dude. How about chocolate ice cream?”

Immediately:

“YES.”

Same kid.

Same moment.

Same basic product category.

Completely different response.

And sometimes this is literally what we’re doing to our audience.

We’re standing there saying:

“Do you want strawberry ice cream?”

And a bunch of the wrong people are raising their hands.

Or everybody ignores it.

Or they take the free content but don’t want to pay us.

When really, the right market is standing there waiting for chocolate.

You need to understand what your person actually wants.

What language creates desire?

What language calls the right person in?

What makes somebody think:

“Holy crap. That is exactly what I’ve been looking for.”

That’s messaging.

Principle #2: Shift Beliefs, Don’t Just Teach

Information is freaking everywhere.

Your competitive advantage cannot simply be:

“I know information.”

Everybody has access to information.

What causes somebody to move is when three categories of belief begin clicking into place.

The Problem

They have to believe the problem is real.

And worth solving.

They need to understand the cost of remaining where they are.

The Possibility

They need to believe another outcome is possible for them.

Not theoretically.

For them.

The Person

They need to believe you, your company, and your methodology can help them bridge that gap.

Those beliefs are much more important than teaching somebody 37 tips.

So yes, educate.

But use education to change perspective.

Use education to expose a false assumption.

Use education to show them another path.

Use education to make them think:

“Maybe I’ve been looking at this completely wrong.”

That is powerful content.

Principle #3: The Sale Happens Before the Call

When the masterclass does its job, the sales call becomes a diagnosis and a decision.

Not a debate.

You’re not trying to wrestle somebody into buying.

You’re not trying to overcome 14 objections from somebody who isn’t even sure they have a problem.

You’re not spending 90 minutes explaining why your method works.

They already understand.

They’re already bought into the core beliefs.

Now we’re asking:

Is this the right fit?

What specifically do you need?

Are there any questions?

Are we aligned?

Do you want help?

That is a completely different sales experience.

And by the way, you don’t have to use a masterclass.

You could do this with a really good VSL.

You could do this through long-form content.

You could do this through an email sequence.

There are multiple mechanisms.

But personally, I have continually found the live component incredibly powerful.

There’s something about getting somebody into a room with you and actually communicating the message live that pre-recorded content doesn’t always replicate.

Principle #4: Specificity Sells

“Nurses who want to open IV clinics” beats “wellness entrepreneurs.”

It’s more specific.

And because it’s more specific, I know exactly what language to use.

I know the fears.

I know the aspirations.

I know their environment.

I know what questions they’re asking.

I know the jargon.

I know the problems.

I know what stories will resonate.

And that makes marketing dramatically easier.

I had a mentor years ago who gave me this analogy.

Think about a megaphone versus a dog whistle.

If you grab a megaphone and start screaming, a bunch of people are going to look.

You got attention.

Great.

But are they the right people?

Now imagine you blow a dog whistle.

Only dogs respond.

And no, I’m obviously not calling your ideal clients dogs.

You get the point.

The more specific the message, the easier it becomes for the right person to hear it and think:

“That’s for me.”

That’s what good positioning does.

Principle #5: Proof From People Like Them Beats Almost Everything

Your proof matters.

Your experience matters.

Your results matter.

But when the prospect sees somebody who looks like them, sounds like them, or started where they started, the proof becomes much stronger.

I could sit here all day telling you:

“We’ve done this.”

“We’ve done that.”

“This strategy works.”

And sure, some of that helps.

But you know what’s stronger?

Showing you the actual behind-the-scenes scorecard.

Showing you the process.

Showing you real clients.

Showing you nurses who were sitting in the same place as the person watching the masterclass.

That’s why I’m documenting what we’re doing in real time.

I don’t just want to talk about theories.

I want to show:

Here is what we changed.

Here is what happened.

Here is what’s working.

That kind of transparency builds a tremendous amount of trust.

You Probably Don’t Need as Many Leads as You Think

This is probably the biggest takeaway from everything we’ve done.

You may not need more leads.

Now, sometimes you absolutely do.

If you have 47 followers and nobody knows who you are, yes, we probably need to create some attention.

But if you have 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, 10,000 people already in your world?

There are probably customers sitting there right now.

Maybe 50.

Maybe 100.

Maybe 200 people who could potentially buy from you.

They just haven’t been moved yet.

They haven’t heard the right message.

They haven’t had the right belief shifted.

They haven’t clearly seen the identity.

They don’t understand why your methodology is different.

They haven’t seen enough proof.

So before you obsess over getting another 10,000 followers, ask:

How well am I converting the attention I already have?

That question alone can save you a ridiculous amount of time and money.

The 20% Producing 80% of Our Results

There are obviously more things happening behind the scenes of a business doing this kind of volume.

There’s team building.

Sales management.

Operations.

Advertising.

Follow-up.

Tracking.

Leadership.

Technology.

AI.

There are plenty of nuances.

But from a pure client acquisition standpoint, the 20% that is creating 80% of the result is pretty simple.

1. Dial in the conversion messaging.

Understand the person’s current identity and aspirational identity.

Understand their beliefs.

Understand the language.

2. Put that message into every conversion asset.

Don’t have your ad say one thing, your landing page say something else, and your sales rep have a completely different conversation.

The message should travel through the entire funnel.

3. Create a simple path.

Let the people who are ready book.

Let everybody else become more educated and pre-sold through your conversion mechanism.

For us, that’s primarily the live masterclass.

4. Sell the belief.

Help them see the problem differently.

5. Sell the identity.

Show them who they can become.

6. Sell the unique methodology.

Give them a path they can understand and believe in.

7. Back everything with proof.

Especially proof from people just like them.

That is what we’re doing.

It’s not 47 funnels.

It’s not some ridiculously complicated marketing hack.

It’s not “just run more ads.”

It’s not another shiny object.

It is taking the fundamentals and making them work together.

The Funnel Isn’t the Magic. The Message Is.

People love funnels because funnels feel tangible.

You can draw boxes.

You can build pages.

You can set up automations.

You can connect software.

And it feels like you’re doing marketing.

But the funnel itself is not the magic.

The words moving somebody through the funnel are what make the funnel work.

The beliefs you shift are what make it work.

The identity you sell is what makes it work.

The desire you create is what makes it work.

The proof is what makes it work.

The funnel is simply the container.

So if your funnel isn’t converting, don’t immediately assume you need a different funnel.

Before you tear the entire thing down, look at your message.

Ask yourself:

Am I attracting the right person?

Am I speaking to what they actually want?

Am I clearly communicating the gap between where they are and where they want to go?

Am I shifting the beliefs stopping them from moving forward?

Can they see themselves becoming the person my offer helps them become?

Do they understand why my way is different?

Have I shown enough proof to make the outcome believable?

If those things aren’t happening, another funnel probably isn’t fixing it.

Use AI to Create Leverage, Not Replace the Fundamentals

And this is where AI becomes incredibly powerful.

Because AI can help us analyze.

Document.

Organize.

Repurpose.

Spot patterns.

Create systems.

I literally had AI analyze what we’ve been doing and help build an internal report around the process.

Why?

So we can understand it.

So we can document it.

So we can repeat it.

So we can teach it to the team.

So we can continue improving it.

That’s leverage.

But notice the order.

We didn’t say:

“AI, magically fix our business.”

We created a process that works.

Then we use AI to help us understand, strengthen, document, and scale that process.

That’s a very different way of thinking about it.

AI should amplify what works.

It shouldn’t become another shiny object distracting you from figuring out what works.

Your Message Matters

So if you take nothing else away from this, remember this:

You probably don’t need another 47 marketing strategies.

You need to get better at communicating the value of the thing you already do.

You need to understand exactly who you’re speaking to.

You need to know who they are now.

Who they want to become.

What they believe.

What needs to change.

What unique path you can give them.

And what proof will help them believe that path is possible.

Then put that message everywhere.

Put it into your content.

Your ads.

Your emails.

Your landing pages.

Your workshops.

Your masterclasses.

Your sales calls.

Your follow-up.

Everything.

Because when the message is strong enough, the rest of the marketing gets a whole lot easier.

And that’s really what we’re seeing happen behind the scenes right now.

Not magic.

Not some secret funnel nobody has ever heard of.

Just a really clear message, a simple conversion path, belief-shifting communication, proof, and leverage.

That is the 20% producing the majority of our results.

And it’s what we’re continuing to double down on.

As always, remember:

Your message matters.

Don’t be afraid to speak it.

Be seen. Be heard. Be impactful.
