I see this every single week.

Coaches… consultants… service providers…

They come in and say:

And here’s the truth:

The old playbook looked like this:

The Dog Whistle vs. The Crowd

Here’s an analogy I love.

Imagine you’re in Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

Thousands of people.

Everyone yelling.

If you start yelling too…

You might get a couple heads to turn.

But no one really pays attention.

That’s social media right now.

Now contrast that with this…

Same environment.

But instead of yelling…

You blow a dog whistle.

Only dogs turn.

That’s what your content should do.

👉 You don’t want to reach everyone.
You want to reach the RIGHT ones.


Step 1: Speak Their Language (Or You Lose)

If you want to create demand…

You have to influence.

And if you want to influence…

You have to know:

  • What to say

  • How to say it

  • And the order to say it in

This is where most people mess it up.


Step 1A: Identify Their Reality

You need to get crystal clear on:

  • Symptoms

  • Problems

  • Complaints

  • Actions they’re taking

  • Beliefs they hold

Let me give you a real example.

Back in my fitness business…

Everyone had the same problem:

👉 Stubborn belly fat

They tried everything:

  • Dieting

  • Eating 600 calories

  • Running 5Ks

  • Following random plans

So instead of saying generic stuff like:

“Lose weight fast”

I would say:

“Do you have 20–25 pounds of stubborn belly fat that just won’t go away… no matter what you try?”

Now they’re like:

👉 “YES. That’s me.”

Because I’m speaking their language.


Step 1B: Define Their Desired Identity

Now flip it.

What do they actually want?

Not just outcomes…

But identity.

  • Fit parent

  • Role model

  • In-demand coach

  • Authority in their niche

Because people don’t just buy results…

👉 They buy who they become.


The Gap That Creates Demand

When you define:

  • Who they are now

  • Who they want to become

You create tension.

That tension?

👉 That’s demand.

Your job is to become the bridge.


Step 2: Sell a New Belief

This is the biggest unlock.

People don’t take action because of information.

They take action because of beliefs.

If someone believes:

“It’s just my genetics”

They will NEVER act.

So you have to install a new belief.


Example: Fitness

Old belief:

“I just need to eat healthy”

New belief:

“You need to eat RIGHT — not just healthy”

That shift creates curiosity.

Curiosity creates demand.


Example: Business

Old belief:

“I need more leads”

New belief:

“You don’t need more leads… you need better messaging”

That’s what creates demand.


Step 3: Introduce Your Unique Mechanism

Once belief shifts…

Now they’re open.

This is where you introduce your:

  • Method

  • Framework

  • System

For me:

This gives people:

Step 4: Use Story to Bridge the Gap

Story is everything.

Because story:

  • Makes it real

  • Makes it emotional

  • Makes it believable

You’re showing:

  • What changed

  • How it changed

  • What’s possible

👉 That’s how beliefs shift.


Step 5: The Conversion Engine (Live Content)

Now we bring it all together.

Your core conversion content.

And in today’s world…

👉 Live content is king.

Why?

Because everything else is:

  • Fake
